- Eikan-do Temple (optional, this is a place for Momiji)
- Nanzen-ji Temple
- Keage Incline (most famous place for sakura)
- Maruyama Park (for food, dinner)
- Chion-in Temple (light up, one best place)
- Kodaiji Temple
- Kiyomizu
Nanzen-ji (Zuiryusan Nanzen-ji | 南禅寺 | South Zen Temple)
Nanzen-ji, or Zuiryusan Nanzen-ji, formerly Zenrin-ji, is a Zen Buddhist temple in Kyoto, Japan. Emperor Kameyama established it in 1291 on the site of his previous detached palace. It is also the headquarters of the Nanzen-ji branch of Rinzai Zen. Wikipedia
Nanzen-ji Temple is between the Philosopher’s Path and Keage Incline. However, sakura did not bloom yet at that time. So I add this location as an additional part on this post.

Keage is a must visit place, and it is nearby to other best sakura spots.
From here you can go south to Chion-in Temple, Maruyama Park, Kiyomizu. Alternative, you can go west to Heian Shrine.
Recommend access, take JR train from Kyoto to Yamashina. And then take subway to Keage.
